So excited, I have discovered a new volunteer opportunity that I enjoy. It is with Feed My Starving Children, and it means packing meals for the starving and malnourished in many countries. On Saturday I worked with them for 2 hours and all of the volunteers there managed to package enough food to feed 93 children for 1 year. It is amazing, I highly recommend looking into it they have mobil packing capabilities and some permenant structures. Their website it FMSC.ORG.
My other volunteer event is with Valley of the Sun United Way and is called Project Connect. This is the primary reason I started cosmotology school. They are advertising events again and I am hoping to feel well enough to actually work at this next one on May 26th in Peoria AZ. I am hoping that some of the people here decide that this is a worthwhile event and volunteer to escort the participants. To get more information please go to VSUW.ORG/Volunteer.
