Migraine headaches Oh what fun

So let me just say that I have had migraines periodically since I was 18; the longest I have ever had one was for 1 month several years ago.  Since then I have only suffered one or two for a period of no more than 2 days.  Now I have had one for the last 8 days but managed to go to work for most of them, granted I was taking as many pain meds as possible to do so.  I have gone to the doctor twice now to get injections to try and relieve the blinding, skull splitting pain that I have been going through.  The second injection which I just got today finally seems to be working.  I am still in a little pain, sleeping a lot, and am breaking out in cold sweats but the pain is no longer excruciating.  Doctors orders are to take 1 more day off of work to rest and recuperate.  I am hoping that this is the end of this headache and that I don't have another for a long long time.
